The Deep Winter Share features our best winter storage crops for 10 weeks, in 5 pickups. This share comes in two sizes- the Large, which is the same size share we have always offered, consisting of 25lbs of veggies per pick up. New this year, you can sign up for a Small share, which is 15lbs of veggies per pick up. You can choose to add on a Winter Greens CSA, which also gives you freshly harvested winter greens at each pick up, such as salad mix, spinach, tatsoi, arugula, kale, and more. Adding on a Winter Greens Share to your Deep Winter CSA gives you a $10 discount rather than signing up for the Winter Greens Share alone. By signing up for any CSA share, you are locking in your spot to receive the best fresh vegetables at about a 15% discount from their retail price.
When: The Deep Winter CSA starts in January. It runs every other week for 10 weeks (5 pick-ups). Pickup days are Thursday through Saturday.
Produce you can expect: butternut squash, onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes, rutabaga, daikon radishes, shallots, garlic, beets, carrots, cabbage, and more!
