Kids at Farm Camp #2

2019 Summer Camp Schedule

Tangerini’s Spring Street Farm welcomes children between the ages of 5-9  and 8-12 years old to enjoy  fun-filled summer camp on a family farm where they can learn by doing.

Experiencing farm life with someone who grew up on farm will surely be an interesting and entertaining experience. Our staff will combine a generous amount of farm fun with daily chores. Through hands-on-experiences, children will explore the relationship between land, food and families. Morning campers(8:30a.m.- noon) will learn about animal care, how to collect eggs, harvesting produce, and help prepare produce for CSA distribution. There will be hikes through our streams and woods, craft projects and good wholesome fun.

Afternoon campers(1-4:30p.m.) should be between the ages of 8-12 years old. They will care and feed chickens and goats, learn to seed crops in the greenhouse, help with harvesting and prepare food using produce they have harvested. Each child will go home with a farm fresh dish that they can share with their family.
