2020 Summer Camp Schedule
Tangerini’s Spring Street Farm welcomes children between the ages of 5-8 and 7-10 years old to enjoy fun-filled summer camp on a family farm where they can learn by doing.
Experiencing farm life with someone who grew up on the farm will surely be an interesting and entertaining experience. Our staff will combine a generous amount of farm fun with daily chores. Through hands-on-experiences, children will explore the relationship between land, food and families. Morning campers (8:30a.m.- noon) will learn about animal care, how to collect eggs, harvesting produce, and help preparing some of the food they harvest into healthy snacks. There will be hikes through our streams and woods, craft projects and good wholesome fun.
Afternoon campers (1-4:30p.m.) should be between the ages of 7-10 years old. They will care and feed chickens and goats, learn to seed crops in the greenhouse, help with harvesting and prepare food using produce they have harvested.
We invite children, who are over 10 years old and interested in the farm, to inquire about our Counselor-In-Training positions.
