School Field Trips and Group Tours

School Teachers, Day Care Providers, Newcomers Clubs, Mom’s Group and Scout Groups are all invited to come experience the fun and learning at Tangerini's Spring Street Farm. Our very special farm is located only a short drive from Boston, just inside I-495, and only about 35 minutes from Worcester.

Field Trip Options

A. Design Your Own-You may have something special in mind. We encourage you to make this a special educational experience, not just another field trip. Let us help you.

The best field trips at the farm are the ones that are designed based on the seasonality of the farm... Groups here have had a chance to experience seeding in the greenhouse, planting potatoes and garlic, adding soil amendments to the raspberries and apples, havesting blueberries, peppers, eggplant, beets, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and carrots, and getting produce ready for sale. Kids love these hands-on experiences and playing farmer for a couple hours. Tell us when you want to come and we will help you design a field trip that is a truly educational experience.

B. Spring Field Trip-with Hayride, Craft Project (Painting and Planting) and the
Hay Maze. $7.00/child

C. Spring Field Trip-Hayride, Craft Project(Painting and Planting), Hay Maze
and Ice Cream. $9.00/child

D. Fall Field Trip-Hayride, Pumpkin Picking, Pumpkin Decorating and Hay Maze. $7.00/child

E. Fall Field Trip-Hayride, Pumpkin Picking, Pumpkin Decorating, Hay Maze
and Ice Cream. $9.00/child.

Field trips have a minimum charge of $75.00 per group. (Ice cream and pumpkins are extra.)

Teachers and Chaperones are free. Siblings will be charged. Everyone in the group must choose the same package. Payment is required in full the day of the event.

Field trips must be booked in advanced.
