I hope you are all enjoying the CSA experience and all the wonderful produce that has come your way this season. This has been the best growing season I have seen in the 32 years I’ve been at it. Our produce is looking lovely each week, and we have had a bounty that is healthy and happy. We only have 6 more weeks of the Main Share but winter share will be starting shortly there-after on November 4. If you haven’t signed up please do so as soon as possible.

And the biggest news of all, our son Emilio was engaged this past Saturday to a really lovely young lady. Her name is Ali, and we are thrilled to have her as part of our family. No she’s not a farm girl but, she holds so many of the values we have instilled in Emilio and his brother Charlie. She loves family, she works hard, she is using her gifts and she is a good friend. Best of all she adores our son! Congrats to you both and we love you to the moon!

They seeded down every single flat, transplanted the plants when they were ready, and then cared for them in the fields. They have weeded, picked, washed and prepared the produce for your CSA shares and the farm stand and it’s been quite an undertaking.

What a difference a year makes! These are some Walla Walla onions that will be showing up in the share this week. The rain of course has helped but also the ability to fertigate ( organic fertilizer and water through drip irrigation). Our next hurdle, will be to find a place to store them all for the winter. They are going to be a great for our Winter Share!
